1. Who joins Destina Japan?

Our members include doctors, lawyers, financial analysts, engineers, entrepreneurs and other successful professionals. We also serve people who understand and appreciate Japanese culture, Japanese nationals who have lived in the USA or Europe, and other internationally minded single people from various western and Asian countries. 2. What sort of women will I meet?

The Japanese women we represent are attractive, educated and well-balanced people. They have been carefully screened, so we have a lot of information about their personalities, appearances and interests. We will only introduce you to single Japanese women with whom we are confident you will be compatible. See the section What are Japanese women like? for more information.

3. How many meetings can you arrange for me?

That depends on the plan you buy, and how satisfied you are with the Japanese women we introduce you to. In theory, we can arrange an unlimited number of introductions, assuming that you purchase the appropriate plan. However, in practice we find that people who use our service rarely exhaust the maximum number of meetings allowed by their plan, because they have already met someone with whom they want to form a long-term relationship. 4. How much time will I need to spend on arranging meetings?

Very little, as we do all the work for you, including helping you select a suitable venue for your first face-to-face meeting with a member. However, it will help you to find someone more quickly if you invest time at the outset to give us a thorough description of yourself, your background and your ideal partner. This will help us to introduce you to Japanese women who will delight you. See the section How to join Destina for more information.

5. Will my personal information and photograph be seen by a lot of strangers?

No. First and foremost, Destina respects and protects the privacy of all its members. Personal information, such as names, addresses and telephone numbers is not revealed early in the matchmaking process.

Instead we focus on the compatibility of potential couples by comparing backgrounds, personalities, interests and goals. Also, since the first meeting is over the telephone, we don’t even show photographs until both parties have spoken and agreed to proceed further.

6. How much does the Destina service cost?

We make every effort to keep costs down and we believe that, given our high success rate and the rigorous service we provide, you will be more than satisfied with our pricing plans. See the section Plans for more information.

7. What if I’m still not sure or if I’m sceptical about whether a matchmaking service is right for me?

All applicants are required to undergo a highly selective registration and screening process, which includes a personal interview to determine their suitability for membership.

To ensure you receive suitable introductions we actively maintain a balanced ratio of men to women, as well as an even distribution of ages. In addition, we continually evaluate our well-trained staff and time-tested methods to ensure Destina continues to provide a dependable, results-orientated service.
