Step1. Contact Destina Japan

Contact Destina Japan to begin your journey. The process begins with an initial telephone interview, during which we will make an appointment for you to meet with our staff of relationship experts. This interview will be arranged to fit in with your schedule, and will respect your privacy. Your interview will last about one hour and is free of charge and obligation.

Step 2. Your personal interview

During your personal interview we begin to get to know you, what you a r e looking for in life, and most importantly, what qualities you are looking for in a companion. We ask you to tell us about your lifestyle, your personal and professional background, and of course, your ideal partner. We then look in more detail at the types of people you would like to meet, as well as your expectations of the Destina Japan experience. During the interview we will also provide details of all aspects of our service.

Step 3. Membership application and registration

After successful completion of your application the necessary fees will be collected and you will be registered with our corporate headquarters in Tokyo. Destina Japan reserves the right to place your membership on administrative hold at any time.

Step 4. Initial matchmaking results notification by telephone

Our highly-trained staff of matchmaking and relationship experts employs a hands-on, personalised approach for each and every Destina Japan member. Once we have found a potential match, we will contact both of you directly by telephone. If both parties agree to meet, based on our detailed but anonymous descriptions (names are strictly withheld until a first meeting is arranged), a “first date will be set up by us with a suitable meeting place and time.

Step 5. The much anticipated first date

Nervous? Don’t worry; just relax and enjoy yourself and leave the details to us. We will carefully select a café, bar, restaurant, or park where we think both members will be comfortable and at ease, so that you can get on with getting to know each other. Ask questions, discuss each other’s interests, utilise the conversation techniques provided by our relationship experts, and most importantly, seize the moment! Chances are the two of you will “click” when you let your inhibitions down and discover you share similar hopes, dreams, interests and lifestyles. Most importantly, be yourself - your true self is the one we chose to put together with the person sitting across from you!

Step 6. The follow-up call

Following the date, you will receive a call from our staff asking for a candid evaluation of your date. They will ask about how things went and whether or not the two of you could be suited. This conversation will help us determine how well we chose for you, and if additional introductions need to be made. Should you wish to continue contact with your date we can support this, or you can contact them directly (providing, of course, they have conveyed to us a similar desire to take things further).

Step 7. Success!

Once you have decided that someone you have met through our service is someone with whom you would like to pursue a relationship, you can proceed without any further interference from us. We love nothing more than to hear that we have helped two people find each other, and that we can call off the search! However, if you would still like further relationship advice and guidance, Destina Japan will be there for you and we will be more than happy to help.
